1979, Moebius
May 4, 2008 on 10:45 am | In Music |Because of Mutant Sounds the world gets to hear Moebius again. This is the first of two LPs that Bryce Robbley and my husband Doug Lynner released under that band’s name. It includes a fantastic punk cover of Light My Fire that made the top 10 in Paris at the time. I am convinced that the second cut, Money, would be a hit today if only somebody would get around to releasing it on CD (ahem).
Hooray for the Pirates! I’m not allowed to even bring up the subject of giving away music but when a complete stranger does it Doug’s thrilled!
PS You’re invited to show your support through your purchase of In This Zoo, the recently-released second album by his synth-pop band Invisible Zoo.
