Doug and Bill Boydstun wrote and recorded I Love My Dog in 1982, a year before Invisible Zoo was formed. It is unreleased. In 2006 I Love My Dog was added to the playlist of listener-supported Radio Free Phoenix, the best free-form radio station we can reach. In honor of Penny Day I was given permission to post the song to this site. Enjoy!

HEY! WE’RE CLOSING DOWN! YES, THAT’S RIGHT….WE ARE GOING OFF THE AIR!!! IT’S JUST NOT FUN ANYMORE. THE RIAA HAS PRETTY MUCH RUINED THIS WHOLE BROADCAST THING SO WELL, IT’S JUST NOT WORTH IT TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE WE STAND. I HATE WAITING AROUND WITHOUT A CLUE AS TO IF WE WILL BE ON OR OFF THE AIR. IT’S BEEN FUN AND YOU LISTENERS HAVE BEEN GREAT BUT THE GREEDY BASTARDS AT THE RIAA HAVE SUCKED ALL OF THE ENJOYMENT OUT OF DOING THIS SO….ER IS GOING TO PULL THE PLUG. (Please don’t lecture me on how the RIAA is helping the recording artists because I know a couple of musicians who have never received a dime for their work…The RIAA is just lining their pockets until all the major labels tell them to go away. My opinion is the RIAA are blackmailing thieves.) THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF OUR LISTENERS.
